ABOUT THE AGENCY
Before starting the Paul J. Zack Literary Agency, principal agent Paul
Zack worked as an editor at two publishing houses. He spent several
years in marketing, promotion and advertising, and he is also a
published author (both fiction and non-fiction).
We seriously consider every query we receive and we will accept
dedicated authors willing to develop their talents. We prefer
long-term partnerships with authors. We offer focused, hands-on
representation, including career advice, suggestions for manuscript
revision, speaking coaching and editorial guidance.
We offer a written contract (30-day termination notice). Our
commission rates are 15% domestic and 20% foreign. We charge
for office expenses such as copying and postage, only after the sale
is made. We do not charge reading fees.
